How It Works
A tailor-made expedition starts with a conversation. You tell us what you’re after — the species at the top of your list, who’s travelling, how long you’ve got, how hard you want to push. We take it from there: the destinations, the lodges, the pace, the timing, all built around you rather than a fixed departure.
Because each trip is planned from scratch, it takes a little longer to put together. That’s the point — you end up with one expedition, shaped for one group, instead of a package shared with strangers.
How We Do It
First, we talk. You tell me what you’re after: the species you most want to see, who’s travelling, your dates, your pace.
Then I plan. Drawing on years in the field and contacts across our destinations, I put together the route, the lodges, and the timing — built around you, not a fixed itinerary.
Then we refine it together until it’s right.
After that, your only job is to turn up and enjoy it. Everything else is handled.

The expeditions here are our pre-planned trips — but think of them as starting points. Browse them for ideas, then take what appeals to you and we’ll build it into an expedition of your own.
What Included
Most of our lodges run on an all-inclusive basis. Your room rate covers all meals and snacks, beverages including most alcoholic drinks, and the activities themselves — game drives, walking safaris and scheduled excursions. Many lodges also offer laundry, so you can travel light. Running places like these in remote regions takes serious behind-the-scenes work, which is part of why service is so personal: at many lodges, staff outnumber guests.
Only a few things sit outside the standard rate: special activities such as hot-air balloon flights and spa treatments, imported spirits at some lodges, and gratuities for the lodge and guiding staff. Beyond those, there’s little else to think about — most of your trip is settled before you arrive.
